This is yet another definitive edition published by the author. Originally consisting of 120 chapters, it has been expanded into three parts totaling 139 chapters. The author has added some content, such as additional scenes of abuse involving Xiao Hong in chapter 107. The protagonist, Hua Jianxiong, is a military intelligence agent undercover in the 76th, while his secretary, Liu Mei, is a communist undercover in the same organization. Lin Meiyin, the secretary of the 76th's boss Zhou, is the leader of the Nightingale organization also undercover within the 76th. While conveying a message, Liu Mei was discovered by Japanese spies brought by a traitor, leading to her arrest by Hua Jianxiong's adversaries who hoped to extract evidence against him from her. Those who enter the 76th often meet a tragic end, with very few surviving, and women suffer a fate worse than death, frequently subjected to rape and gang rape upon arrival, followed by various inhumane tortures (such as steel needles piercing breasts or red-hot iron rods inserted into their lower bodies). A beautiful woman might be left unrecognizable after just a few interrogations, during which she is repeatedly raped by the thugs and spies, before being executed in a desolate manner. The story is full of twists and turns, with captivating plots, and the depiction of the torture and interrogation processes of female prisoners within the 76th is particularly blood-boiling.
