"I never thought that at your age, you'd still be so handsome, full of charm. You know, the man I really liked wasn't my now-deceased husband, but you. But you, useless as you are, why did you have to show no interest in me, always out having fun, making me so jealous."

On the red bed, a woman wearing white panties and a grape-purple bra, like a seductress, kept flirting with a man next to her, who was only in blue underwear. Recalling past events while engaging in love talk, it was quite the romantic scene.

The woman in the purple bra was named Li Shuying. She was Liu Dasheng's woman.

Although she was well past her prime, her face still retained the youthfulness of a thirty-year-old. Her skin was so delicate it seemed it could be broken by a blow, with a radiant glow that shimmered with the allure of gold.

When her delicate willow-leaf eyebrows relaxed, they were as enchanting as a lotus flower, attracting countless men, stirring in them criminal impulses, making them unable to extricate themselves, unable to stop.

The man in the blue underwear was Li Shuying's usual good friend. To put it subtly, they were good friends; to put it bluntly, they were actually lovers. His name was Liu Ergen.

Even when Li Shuying's husband was alive, the two were close. Often taking advantage of her husband's absence, Liu Ergen would sneak into Li Shuying's home. What the two ended up doing, any normal person could imagine and understand clearly.

This couldn't be blamed on anyone, after all, both were willing.

After Li Shuying's husband died, their relationship grew even closer. Before, they met at most twice a week; after his death, Liu Ergen came almost every day. How could Liu Ergen, a man of his age, still be so strong in that aspect?

Others tend to weaken in that aspect as they age, but Liu Ergen was completely unaffected by age, growing more enthusiastic, each time able to bring Li Shuying to a euphoric climax.

Originally, Li Shuying had deeply loved Liu Ergen, but after learning about his prowess in that aspect, her love became even more steadfast, unyielding even if the seas dried up and the rocks crumbled. She longed for him desperately every day. A day without seeing him felt like three years.

A widow who frequently brings other men into her home is naturally subject to town gossip. Rumors spread like wildfire, quickly exploding across the town like an atomic bomb.

Any man or woman of a certain age knows about Li Shuying's habit of seeking out men outside her home.

But Li Shuying is thick-skinned. Every time she goes out and hears people talking about her, she turns a deaf ear and acts as if she hasn't heard a thing.

She lives with the same calm and composure as before.

At first, Liu Ergen was somewhat concerned about what others thought. After all, it's hard to argue that one's mood isn't affected when they're being pointed at and talked about for their philandering ways.

But later, seeing how Li Shuying faced everything with such calm and composure, Liu Ergen, being a man, naturally began to take those matters lightly as well.

"A man who doesn't philander is no man at all."

Every time Liu Ergen heard people talking about him, he would comfort himself with these words.

Over time, both Li Shuying and Liu Ergen became accustomed to it.
